MAFALDA MIRANDA JACINTO (1989) is an artist and creative based in Lisbon. Her transdisciplinary practice spans design, illustration, writing, photography, and performance. Oriented by a strong visual language, she works across different media to express a colorful—and often absurd—perspective on the world.
She studied at Goldsmiths (London) and Forum Dança. Since 2013, she’s been part of Rabbit Hole and cofounded the artistic space TRUST Collective in 2020. Her work has been shown in Portugal, the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Greece. In 2023, she published her first book of visual poetry, Sugar Coating.
Mafalda has collaborated with artists such as John Romão, Pedro Barreiro, and Daniel Pizamiglio, and is part of the Kooperativa Dramaturgica (2025). She also works in production, communication, design and art direction with structures like Bomba Suicida, Teatro Praga, Rua das Gaivotas 6, and IndieLisboa.
Currently, she is developing editorial projects combining photography, illustration, and text.
